The Association of Special Constabulary Chief Officers (ASCCO) was established in 2005 to represent Special Chief Officers but over the
following years developed further and in 2016 elected to offer membership to ranks from specials inspector upwards.
ASCCO is now working to become the VOICE OF SPECIAL CONSTABLES in England & Wales
over the next few years but needs the infrastructure to support all special constables.
If you are a special constable, then why not join as an Associate member now, online. If you are a specials inspector or above then please complete the online registration
ASCCO is recognised as the professional body for special constables in the UK by:
- THE HOME OFFICE
- COLLEGE of POLICING
- NATIONAL POLICE CHIEFS' COUNCIL
- ASSOCIATION OF POLICE & CRIME
and works collaboratively with:
- The POLICE FEDERATION Of ENGLAND & WALES
- POLICE SUPERINTENDENTS' ASSOCIATION.
